December 2008 Update

It is a chilly day here in central Alberta. We woke up to -15 degrees celsius (5 degrees Fahrenheit) and a brisk wind. We also had our first skiff of snow the other day. Why is is that everyone forgets their winter driving skills until after the first day of tricky driving conditions?

Spring Wildlife on the Alberta Prairie

I just sent out an email update for December. I sent one out in October too. Don’t ask me what the heck happened in November. This update features some more spring wildlife from the Alberta prairie. Specifically, I focus on a Sora and a pair of Red-necked Grebes.
