While Polar Bears wait for the water of Hudson Bay to freeze into sea ice, they spend a lot of their time on shore patiently sleeping and waiting. Once the water freezes sufficiently, the bears head out onto the ice to hunt for their favourite food; seals. In the mean time, there is little to do but sleep.
